As the caption under the logo top right says, I'm an Edinburgh based writer and poet and music obsessive.

I've read on Medium about limiting your scope of subject matter in order to niche down. That's going be difficult, though the topics I want to explore are related.

For example, meditation, spirituality, wellness, life, death, poetry, psychology, philosophy and even that rancid septic tank called politics, are all potential parts of our daily experience of life.

In fact if I had to sum them up under one heading, I'd have to call it 'life'. Which is handy because 'life' is one of the listed topics on Medium.

So there you have it, I write about life.

And what of the music obsessive part of things?

To keep things from getting too untidy, I'll be starting my own publication here in order to write on that topic. "The Old Anorak" will be the place to find my musings on that subject.

From personal reminicsences about my various musical obsessions to my thoughts on musical genres and lots of stops in between and on either side.
